Air filtration

Mini-pleat V-bank filters

Mini-pleat V-bank blocks: high efficiency and low pressure drop at high airflow.

A V-bank arrangement stacks several mini-pleat panels in one frame, multiplying filter area and lowering face velocity. It is the geometry chosen when airflow is high and housing depth is constrained.

Air path and clogging

The drawing gives the direction of flow and where retention happens. It carries no scale and no value.
  1. Entry — air enters through the mouths of the Vs, open over the full height of the upstream face.
  2. Crossing — the air passes through the panels over their whole length. The area offered to it is that of the panels, not that of the frame face.
  3. Exit — the filtered air leaves at the back of the frame.

For the same envelope, it is the length of the panels that makes the developed area, not the frame face.

Values read from the documents cited

Each value is read from the document its mark refers to. It places the family; it does not describe its full extent. Where the family has published sheets, what those sheets actually carry is stated under the value.
